Meet Andrew and the Brood

Hi, I’m Andrew, the founder of Brickin' Brood, a business born from my lifelong passion for Lego. I'm happily married to my wonderful wife, Ashlee, who is a talented wedding videographer with her own company. Together, we have a beautiful blended family of five children: Maddex, Arie, Piper, Lola, and Weston.

As a family, we cherish our time together. We love watching movies, going on walks through the forest behind our house, and of course - building Lego! Our shared love for these little bricks has become a central part of our lives, with everyone in the family supporting and contributing to our passion.

My journey with Lego started when I was just 4 years old. One of my first sets was the Forestmen's Crossing, and from there, I collected iconic sets like King's Mountain Fortress, Neptune Discovery Lab, and Fort Legorado. However, like many Lego enthusiasts, I went through what’s known as a "Lego dark age," where I kept my sets packed away for years. It wasn’t until I bought my son Maddex the Destiny's Bounty set from the Lego Ninjago Movie for Christmas that my passion for Lego was reignited. The experience of building that set together sparked a deeper connection between us, and from that moment, our family’s love for Lego only grew.

Now that passion is what drives Brickin' Brood, where we offer a variety of new, used, and retired Lego sets as well as making videos sharing the progress of our own Lego city, custom builds and our Lego adventures.

Our company’s name, Brickin' Brood, reflects exactly what we stand for: "Brickin'" symbolizes building with Lego, while "Brood" represents our close-knit family. Thank you for being a part of our Brood!

We look forward to sharing this journey with you and creating even more special moments together.
